The men of the city said to Elisha, "Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive." 20엘리사가 이르되 새 그릇에 소금을 담아 내게로 가져오라 하매 곧 가져온지라 "Bring me a new bowl," he said, "and put salt in it." So they brought it to him. Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, "This is what the LORD says: 'I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.' And the water has remained wholesome to this day, according to the word Elisha had spoken.
About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air. Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat." 14베드로가 이르되 주여 그럴 수 없나이다 속되고 깨끗하지 아니한 것을 내가 결코 먹지 아니하였나이다 한대 "Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean." 15또 두 번째 소리가 있으되 하나님께서 깨끗하게 하신 것을 네가 속되다 하지 말라 하더라 The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean." 16이런 일이 세 번 있은 후 그 그릇이 곧 하늘로 올려져 가니라 This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven. While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision, the men sent by Cornelius found out where Simon's house was and stopped at the gate.
David then asked Ahimelech the Hittite and Abishai son of Zeruiah, Joab's brother, "Who will go down into the camp with me to Saul?" "I'll go with you," said Abishai. So David and Abishai went to the army by night, and there was Saul, lying asleep inside the camp with his spear stuck in the ground near his head. Abner and the soldiers were lying around him. Abishai said to David, "Today God has delivered your enemy into your hands. Now let me pin him to the ground with one thrust of my spear; I won't strike him twice." 9다윗이 아비새에게 이르되 죽이지 말라 누구든지 손을 들어 여호와의 기름 부음 받은 자를 치면 죄가 없겠느냐 하고 But David said to Abishai, "Don't destroy him! Who can lay a hand on the LORD's anointed and be guiltless? As surely as the LORD lives," he said, "the LORD himself will strike him; either his time will come and he will die, or he will go into battle and perish. But the LORD forbid that I should lay a hand on the LORD's anointed. Now get the spear and water jug that are near his head, and let's go." 12다윗이 사울의 머리 곁에서 창과 물병을 가지고 떠나가되 아무도 보거나 눈치 채지 못하고 깨어 있는 사람도 없었으니 이는 여호와께서 그들을 깊이 잠들게 하셨으므로 그들이 다 잠들어 있었기 때문이었더라 So David took the spear and water jug near Saul's head, and they left. No one saw or knew about it, nor did anyone wake up. They were all sleeping, because the LORD had put them into a deep sleep.
